The small improvement studio behind cell standouts Alto’s Journey and Alto’s Odyssey is teasing its subsequent recreation. Laya’s Horizon will likely be a Netflix Video games title from indie studio Snowman, identified for the satisfyingly addictive gameplay of the Alto sequence.

The temporary trailer showcases a recreation world on a seaside panorama. The surroundings might simply be a lower-poly model of Breath of the Wild, because the digicam pans again to disclose windmills, hot-air balloons and jagged cliffs. Finally, we glimpse an individual in a cape or flying swimsuit perched atop the panorama who we are able to solely assume is the playable protagonist.

The trailer doesn’t reveal something about Laya’s Horizon gameplay or its launch date. Nonetheless, an outline reads, “An entire new world is simply past the horizon…” As well as, a consultant for Snowman advised Engadget, “Whereas we’re not fairly able to share particulars in regards to the recreation but, we are able to say that it’s a wholly new IP and one thing we’ve been engaged on for a very long time.”

Netflix’s unconventional transfer into cell gaming has spawned a high quality library of over 40 Android and iOS video games, none together with adverts or microtransactions. The video games are all free to obtain and play for subscribers.
